Janet Jackson in Haider Ackerman
How hot is Janet Jackson in these photos? From her hair to her makeup to her outfit, I love her look!
It's, in my opinion, a cool and feminine take on menswear as far as the effect goes.
Doesn't she look sharp?
She's wearing Haider Ackerman and these photos of her were taken at the 2011 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala.
Fancy schmancy.

Beyonce Premieres New Video
Beyonce's "Run The World (Girls)" video was released from it's cage of fury last night.
It's not my favorite Beyonce song but I'll have fun working out to it.
The music video didn't rock my world but I still want to learn the choreography.
Shrug.
How do you guys feel about the song and video?

Fox Cancels Glee Because Stars Change Hair.
Sike!
Wouldn't that suck, though? It'd be like "way to go Dianna and Chord! You guys ruined everything. So selfish."
It's not like that hasn't happened before...
*cough - Felicity - cough*
Dianna Agron is rocking a new bob cut and Chord Overstreet's went over to the dark side. So for those freaking out, chill. They're on break from Glee, hair grows back and people have been getting a head of sun kissed tresses with the help of peroxide for years.
It's all going to be okay.

Shits and Giggles Mondays.
Friends don't let friends call, text, email, im, fax or page while drunk.
Thanks for the video Shola!
Eeeek.
I am mortified that it's taken me this long to update my blog! I haven't really been busy, I've been preoccupied.
I interviewed for this job I really want and I've been spending the last couple of weeks checking my email like a crazy person, annoying friends and family, cleaning, re-reading books and watching TV. I pretty much welcomed any distraction.
You'd think writing would be a good distraction, right?
Anyway, I'm back to my regular posting schedule and I'll be posting my backlogged posts from the previous two weeks.

This Week in Frivolity.
- Sir Paul McCartney is getting married!!! Yay for love : )
- In not so happy news, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have separated. Is it weird that this makes me really sad?
- So Bristol Palin looks different... Like in "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" different. But what I thought was a chin implant is being called "corrective jaw surgery".
Well if she's happy that's all that matters but I think it looks like play-doh was added to the bottom of her face. - Jesse James is an asshole.
- Matthew Perry returned to rehab to continue working on his sobriety. In his statement, he added "please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web.” Nah. I save snarky comments for ridiculous topics.
- Leonardo DiCaprio broke up with another model. But Kings of Leon singer, Caleb Followill, put a ring on his. By Monday he and Victoria's Secret model, Lily Aldridge, will be husband and wife. Hehe, every time DiCaprio strings a model along, another one gets married. He's like Good Luck Chuck.
- Hmmm... Ashton Kutcher is replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men? I could mention how weird that casting decision is or write some lame "Sheen isn't winning" joke. Meh. I don't watch the show and I don't really care.
- Lindsay Lohan is still a hot mess.

Costume Institute Gala 2011
I look forward to the Costume Institute Gala like it's my birthday; I love seeing Hollywood's stars rub elbows with New York's fashionistas, athletes and other people I'm not cool enough to know.
With that said, this year's gala (“Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty”) was kind of underwhelming to me. I didn't really love anything I saw save for a few outfits.
*Tears* It was so sad.
Okay, it's really not that serious. But this year's gala did leave me with a resounding "meh". Maybe I just have too much on mind to really appreciate anything. Either way, I found most of the outfits either incredibly safe and boring or incredibly ugly.
Let me stress that this is my opinion; I'm sure everyone has their favorites. But I like what I like.
Check out MY favorite look of the night.
No surprise here. Anyone who reads my blog regularly knows that I LOVE pretty much everything Diane Kruger wears.
I don't know what kind of juju she works, but she always wears outfits that work for her. She never looks like she's trying too hard or trying to follow trends.
Kruger wore Jason Wu with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a Jimmy Choo clutch.
Kruger with her dapper beau, Joshua Jackson. Hi baby!
Here were some other looks that caught my attention that night:
Shalom Harlow, in Marchesa, with Harry Winston jewels.
Kerry Washington, in Escada, with H.Stern jewels and a Swarovski clutch.
Chanel Iman, in Dolce & Gabbana.
Solange Knowles in Dries Van Noten. Please ignore the tranny makeup!
That is all.
Check out style.com, wonderwall.com and fashionbombdaily.com if you want to see what everyone from Lea Michele to Kanye West wore. Those are the sites I got the photos from.

Shits and Giggles Monday
Shola introduced me to this hilarious vlogger. I laughed hysterically when I watched this video the first time!
With that said I don't agree with everything he said. I have white friends who would NEVER even think of talking back to their parents, let alone hitting them.
I know I would never disrespect my parents and that is because I'm not suicidal.
